今天是全世界都在热烈庆祝的大日子!因為----年前，在遥远的国都以色列伯利恒的地方，弥赛亚(也就是救世主)降生了!然而我们却发现，所谓的普天同庆，如今却已慢慢沦為嘉年华会式的狂欢，甚至因狂欢过度，每年都有许多人丧命!这已远远背离耶稣降生的意义。因此，在这儿我要和大家一起分享耶穌降生的故事，以及其中所蕴含的意义。
当年，以色列尚在罗马政权统治之下。罗马人為了统计百姓的人数，於是下令所有的人都要回本籍地报名上册(就像现在的户口普查)。於是耶穌的父亲-约瑟，就带著因圣灵感孕而身怀六甲的妻子-马利亚，由定居地-加利利的拿撒勒赶回本籍地-犹大的伯利恒。由於回来报名上册的人太多了，每家旅馆都客满，而马利亚临盆在即。在约瑟的苦苦央求下，一位好心的旅馆老板让他们借住在马房，於是，当晚耶穌就降生在马槽中。
当耶穌降生的那一刻，在伯利恒野地裡看守羊群的牧羊人，忽然见到上帝派来的使者站在他们旁边，告诉他们救世主已经降生的好消息。同时出现了一大队的天兵，和那位天使高声的讚美上帝说：「在至高之处荣耀归与上帝，在地上平安归与他所喜悦的人」。这是第一支报佳音的队伍，也就是后来每年的圣诞节，都会四处报佳音的由来。
从耶穌的降生，我们可以得到两个啟示：
1、学习他谦卑的态度。
根据圣经的记载，耶穌是救世主，应当是无上光荣的，但他却选择降生在马槽这麼卑微的地方，正显现出他的谦卑。他曾说：「我来是要服事人，而不是要被人服事」;又说：「我心柔和谦卑，你们当负我的軛」;他更曾為门徒一一洗脚。这些在在显明他的谦卑。我们行事為人，是否也该学习他这谦卑的样式?
2、追求心灵上真正的平安。
人生在世，难免会遭遇困厄灾祸。於是，很多人就用各种方式祈求灾祸不要临到他的身上，也因此產生了各种忌讳：这个不能做，那个不能吃;早上出门要朝东走，晚上回家时要先朝南走……等。只要有一点闪失，就整天害怕担心，这是真正的平安吗?我认為真正的平安是，即使遇到了灾祸，心裡也不会惊慌失措。因為你知道有一位比你更有能力的人，他可以為你分愁解忧，他可以為你承担一切的重担，如同婴儿安睡在父母的怀抱中，无惧外面的狂风暴雨。这是多麼令人喜乐的事啊!

moreover, we have our distinctive way of celebrating christmas. instead of going to the church like the americans, we regard christmas as an opportune time to shop and to enjoy ourselves, as many shopping centers offer discounts to attract customers in christmas season. as such, our values are not deeply altered by our celebration of christmas.
